Calculate the amount of credit you need

When you buy a credit pack on Everything Location, you have full access to our API services which are priced based on the product and country being used. This works a bit like a pay-as-you-go phone account. You'll purchase and load credit onto the account, then use it on calls which may be made to different numbers or countries, each having a different call rate.
If you're using capturelocation (with or without an add-on) then the math is easy. Every final address called is a fixed 8.75 credits. The amount of credit you'll need will be based on your expected volume over a period of time. For example, if you expect your address capture form to be used 10,000 times over the course of a year, you'd need to purchase a credit pack with at least 87,500 credits (100,000 * 8.75). If you wanted to return a geocode with each of the addresses, the total credits needed per address would be 11.75 credits (8.75 + 3). Therefore you'd need a pack with at least 117,500 credits.
Our verifylocation product works the same way, although we have two price tiers based on the country of the address being processed. Our first tier (2.5 credits) covers addresses in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada. The second tier (10 credits) applies to all other countries. If you only need to use address verification in countries contained in a single tier, then the calculation is easy. If you're processing global data, you will need to estimate your expected volume per tier to get a total credit amount.
Never run out of credit
In a few weeks Everything Location will be launching new auto-notification and auto-billing functionality. This means that if you are running low on credit, you'll receive a message letting you know that it's time to top up. You'll also be able to configure your payment method to automatically purchase a credit pack when your balance drops below a defined threshold.
